One Great Day

During the Summer, Middleton Shopping Centre visitors ensured it was truly ‘One Great Day’ as they visited our Summer Space Camp.

One Great Day is a UK wide annual fund-raising day held in shopping centres across the country, raising money and support for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and a local children’s charity.

Middleton Shopping Centre chose to partner with Francis House Hospice, who provide appropriate respite and end of life care for children and young people with life limiting illnesses and the necessary support and short-term care for their families.

A massive thank you to infinity and beyond to Café Zhino for the FREE donation of 200 ‘intergalactic space themed’ cupcakes. Retailers and visitors purchased cakes for a small donation that contributed to £500 being raised for the chosen charities. All proceeds made during the day will be split between https://www.gosh.nhs.uk and https://www.francishouse.org.uk

Marie Gribben, Centre Manager Comments, ‘’I always ensure that One Great Day is extra special within our centre, it’s a wonderful concept and one that is close to my heart. A massive thank you to all our visitors and retailers who contributed to make it a great success especially to Café Zhino for our free cup cakes’’.
