Thousands of people have been vaccinated at the mass vaccination centre in Middleton Shopping Centre.
The process has been smooth, with the occasional long queue due to people turning up too early for appointments.
The NHS staff & volunteers have been absolutely brilliant and deserve the plaudits they have been getting from members of the public, but I want to thank our Middleton shopping centre team for the way they have handled this situation.
I have personally witnessed some outstanding customer care from our security, cleaning & maintenance team since the Vaccination Centre opened, in fact throughout the whole of this pandemic. They have all been fantastic & deserve high praise for keeping Middleton open and for helping our amazing onsite NHS.
We simply couldn’t operate without them. Thank you.
