Huge congratulations to Maxine Hannan of Aston Services Group, who has been named our Supplier Dare Devil of the Year for 2020!
In January 2020, while on duty at Middleton Shopping Centre, Maxine overheard a lady shouting for assistance and immediately rushed to help. She quickly realised that the woman’s two-year-old child was choking as a result of swallowing a 10 pence coin; she managed to dislodge it and then called an ambulance for further assistance.
Maxine was praised for her courage in administering first aid, liaising with the emergency services and providing reassurance for both the child and their mother, as well as her outstanding commitment to her role at Middleton.
Well done to Maxine and all the team at Middleton especially our service partners for their tireless efforts in keeping the centre running throughout what has been an extraordinary year.
