On Saturday 18th June 2011 local resident of Middleton, Tracey Grant lay in a bath of beans for several hours in the hope of raising money in memory of a friends son, Nathan Brown. Nathan was a ten year old boy who was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma nearly 4 years ago and he unfortunately passed away last week.
Tracey raised over £800 on the day so thank you to all Middleton Shopping Centre Shoppers who donated.
