40th Anniversary Gala Day Surprises!!

Middleton Shopping Centre would like to thank all shoppers who came to the centre on Saturday 1st October to help celebrate their 40th Anniversary!! It was a fantastic fun filled jam packed day with something for everyone and the centre hopes all shoppers enjoyed themselves.

From face painting for the kids to performances from this years Middleton pantomime cast for all the famil,y it seemed like everyone was having fun. Plus we awarded 2 shoppers with £500 in cash each as winners in our anniversary scratchcard competition.

Not only were shoppers having fun but the stores were getting involved and having fun too, dressing in 70's costumes for our retailer competition with Quality save being awarded 1st place, Superdrug 2nd place and Cafe Zinho 3rd place for all of their efforts.

Finally the Mayor and Mayoress also popped in to congratulate the centre on reaching their historic landmark by unveiling the new permanent timeline of the shopping centre's history, crowning the new Face of Middleton Phoebe, as well as enjoying the delicious birthday cupcakes provided by Cafe Zinho.

Middleton Shopping Centre hopes all shoppers who came down had a fantastic day and once again they would like to thank you for celebrating their landmark anniversary with them.
